I got a call from the Lexus mechanic at about noon time. He told me that he had just spent some time looking over the car and that he thought it could be repaired. I asked him what it would cost to repair the old Lexus and I almost died when he told me the repair cost. He said that the transmission was done and that it would cost $2,000 to $3,000 to have it replaced. I told him that was not an option. The car was just too old. We would buy another Used Lexus instead of repairing the old one.
